Chicago, Illinois | An Intimate Windy City Wedding

Replanning a wedding from 150+ guests to 11 guests means making a lot of sacrifices.

Sacrificing 150 eyes on you as you walk down the aisle.

Sacrificing a big cocktail hour with all of your guests filled with laughter.

Sacrificing dancing to cotton eyed joe with your childhood bff.

Sacrificing everyone staring as you dance to your first dance.

Sacrificing the big party that you always dreamt of since you were little.

But you know what having a guest count of 11 looked like instead, for Allie + Kent?

It meant having their closest family members right there to witness them reciting their vows.

It meant their sweet fur babes, Jane + Grace there to run around and love on them, with their flowers on.

It meant an intimate champagne toast + Nothing Bundt Cakes for all to enjoy (omg the best!!).

It meant alllll the family picture combinations, cuz WHY NOT and they had me all day, so might as well get every family pic possible😍

It meant still getting married at their original venue, cuz why not!!!

It means four locations instead of one location for bride + groom pics, and omg!!! A photographer’s dream tbh!!

It meant Allie + Kent going back to their “why” behind their day. That they were there to say “I do” and that’s why they planned a wedding in the first place💛

Allie + Kent’s day was filled with literally the happiest tears, I kept on wiping my eyes behind the camera.

When dad walked in and saw Allie for the first time, he said “you look like an angel on earth.”🥺

Yep yep I lost it there👆😅😭

I love these people. I loved their day. I love their story.

Forever grateful I was the one to tell it💛
