John + Roxy flew in to Chicago from Texas juuust in time for him to pop the big question!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I stood on the sand of North Avenue Beach waiting for these two lovebirds to come my way as I was “taking pictures of the skyline.” ;)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Roxy was confused why John was leading her this way, when he faced her towards the Chicago skyline, she turned around, and tears ran down the sides of her cheeks.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
He asked her for forever, happy tears were flooding the Chicago air, and we soaked in every minute of it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
John had her ring made in Buffalo, New York (where he’s originally from), and brought it to Chicago for their weekend getaway.
The proposal took place at North Avenue Beach in Chicago, Illinois.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I love this city, I love my job that truly doesn’t feel like work, and wow I’m so thankful.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
