Mahomet, Illinois | A Pandemic Can’t Stop A Wedding

A pandemic didn’t stop Emily and Giles from saying “I do” to forever.

About four years ago Emily’s friend from high school told her about this super sweet and cute guy that she knew would be juuuust perfect for Emily.

The two of them finally met while hanging out with mutual friends, aaaand heart eyes happened.

Giles got her number from his friend, and they texted all night long!

For the next TEN DAYS they spent night and day texting and hanging out, and Emily began to see why everyone said they were made for each other!

On date #2, Emily went for the long anticipated kiss, and Giles smiled, blushed, and in that exact moment he stole Emily’s heart for life.

Once he stopped blushing and smiling ear to ear, they went for that second kiss, and it’s been LOVE ever since.

Emily said to me just about a year ago “this is what I want to be captured on our wedding day. That love, connection, and excitement to spend the rest of our lives together!”

And their day was just.that.

6/13/2020 was filled with happy tears, laughter, their closest loved ones around, a cupcake reception, dancing to their first dance in the forrest preserve, and celebrating their beautiful love story.

Smiling so big, and thankful for these beautiful humans. Their story. Including me in their day. And EXCITED for their big party next year!

Already ready for it.

xoxo
