Millennium Park, Chicago, Illinois | A Christmas Millennium Park Proposal

Peter had the whole city of Chicago crying.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁣

Emily contacted me over a month ago for a couple’s session for her and Peter (her boyfriend at the time).⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⁣In one of her initial emails she said “not engaged yet (soon),” and as soon as I saw that email I hoped and hoped Peter would propose to her during their session!!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⁣Peter contacted me a few weeks ago, and I jumped up and down in excitement!!⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁣

We planned the entire thing out, all the way down to what I would say to let him know to pop the big question.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⁣It was a beautiful afternoon in Millennium Park in Chicago, Illinois, the day of their session. We started off normally, and about twenty minutes in I had Peter tell Emily three things he loves about her.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁣

She started to cry as he whispered those three things, and I knew at that moment it was time.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁣

We went in front of the Christmas tree in Millennium Park, Peter knelt down, Emily said yes, I cried, and the city of Chicago cheered.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It was magical, and these two were radiating with love + joy.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⁣I knew from the very instant Emily emailed me that she and Peter were special. We instantly clicked over our love for Jesus, yoga, and life’s most real, genuine moments. I hugged these two so tight the minute I met them.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⁣I could go on and on (and on) about my love for these two, but for now I’m just going to say Emily + Peter, I’m still wiping tears from my eyes from your most perfect moment, and what an honor it was to be a part of it. This life is yours to celebrate. Never ever stop!!

⁣xoxo
