Hey there, friend.
Where’s the fire?
Where’s that eternal flame within you?
When I was young I wanted to be a Pharmacist.
I wanted to be a Pharmacist because I liked the way they talked through a microphone when you’d pull through the drive through to order a prescription at Walgreen’s.
I know, I KNOW what you’re thinking. That’s definitely not a good enough reason to become a Pharmacist, right??
Well I thought it was. At least, I thought so until I took my first Chemistry class. After that I quickly (very, very quickly) changed my mind.
So I began thinking about what I was truly passionate about in this life. And it didn’t take long until I found my calling through art, music, and photography. I knew from high school on that I would someday be a Photographer. And I never looked back.
It was in high school that I discovered that fire. That flame within me that would burn eternally and never go out.
I was so fortunate enough to discover it that early.
But many don’t. Which is totally okay!! It’s normal, actually.
But my friend, I’m here to encourage you.
I’m here to encourage you to do what you love. Whatever that is. DO it. Do it do it do it and don’t stop. Don’t give up. Even if it means working extra. Even if it means working so much that you lose some sleep. Even if it means taking a leap of faith.
Do it.
It will be worth it. I promise you!
Whether you want to be a fireman, a doctor, a dentist, a lawyer, an artist, a policeman, a pharmacist, a teacher, a photographer – WHATEVER IT IS that YOU want to be, go for it! And never stop.
If we find our true calling and where our true passions lie?
Then my friends, you never a day in your life will let that fire burn out.
