The World We Live In Begins With YOU

I will never understand why there’s such a word as “enemies.”

Why this world has a need for that word.
peace
I don’t want to live in a world where there’s war and competition and heartache and crime and jealousy and greed and anger and judgement and hatred.

I make it a mission of mine every single day to create a world within me that radiates kindness, positivity, happiness, courage, gratitude, encouragement, support, generosity, friendliness, and love.

And I know I fail. I fail so often.

But what if all of us strived for this? What if we all strived to radiate kindness and love and forgiveness and patience and friendliness every day? How much better of a world would this be that we live in?

All too often I catch people complaining about the mean and cruel world we live in. They blame leaders of the country or leaders of the state for all that’s happening. All the hate in the world. All the crime in the world.

But friends, I think the problem starts with us.

We as individuals reciprocate that hatred every day. We treat others as less of people because we think we’re better. We think we know more. Or we think we have more power.

The truth friends? The only one above us is Jesus. And He shows us day in and day out love. He shows us forgiveness. He shows us patience. He shows us kindness. He shows us sacrifice.

He suffered on the cross for US just so we could have a chance on this earth. To live.

We all have a chance friends, and we all have a choice.

We have a choice on how we leave our marks on this earth. We have a choice how we will treat others and what we want to contribute to the world.

So will you join all of the hatred and anger and war?

Or will you join me in living life for Him, our Savior, our Creator, and the only One who will always point us back to love?
xoxo
