Why I Use Showit And Will Never Go Back

Education, Tips

Photographers, are you hoping to start a website?

Or you have one, but you just can’t seem to get it right? And it just doesn’t fit your vision?

All I can say is: I. Feel. YOU.

It feels like I’ve tried just about every platform out there for my website, and I could never seem to get it right. I never found a user-friendly site to use, and could never find a template that held my vision and aesthetic.

So as a frustrated photographer and after trying just about every platform out there (WordPress, Wix, etc.), I reached out to peers of mine.

Aaaaand I discovered Showit!! Aka my bestie. Haha Showit is a GAME-CHANGER, you guys. I’m about to tell you why:

Showit has been around since 2008, and it’s literally catered to photographers. Like how amazing is that?!

When I was first building out my website and starting my business, I noticed a trend, and that was that it was so difficult to find a site that was user-friendly and didn’t eat up every minute of my time just to come up with something I even semi-loved.

And once I started using Showit, everything changed for me. So here are five reasons to choose Showit over anything else:

1. I know I keep saying this, but it’s SO user friendly!!

It requires ZERO code, you guys! You can use code if you’re a web designer and would like to, but you don’t need to. Everything is drag and drop, and so self-explanatory! Everything is also customizable! Say goodbye to frustrating limited customized designs, and hello to colors, fonts, photos, shapes, etc. all able to be changed with just the click of a mouse. In my opinion, the way it should be.

2. Their tech support is AMAZING!

I have reached out to Showit so many times asking questions about how to do different things, questions about the blog, migrating, etc., and every single time without a doubt, support has come back with answers to all of my questions and steps on how to fix the troubles I was facing. They never settle for less and make sure you’re taken care of.

3. WORDPRESS.

I always wanted to use WordPress for blogging purposes, because I knew it was great for SEO purposes (Search Engine Optimization). And guess what! Showit uses WordPress for their blogging. So how it works is you post your blog within WordPress and it automatically appears on your Showit site. Such a win-win!

4. Blank Canvas.

Showit is essentially a blank canvas. So you start with a blank canvas and can completely create and customize a site of your own to compliment your vision and style. My own site was created by a designer completely from scratch, and it still blows my mind to this day.

5. So many Showit templates!

My first website through Showit was from a template I purchased, but what I love about so many of their templates is you can purchase them from anyone who sells them. I know many photographers and designers have created Showit templates, and they are so customizable and easy to implement. Love love love the templates!!

Okay so have I convinced you to integrate Showit into your business yet??

This isn’t me selling Showit and I’m not gaining anything from it. This is coming from me knowing the place you’re in and being frustrated with the market of websites not being easy to navigate and get off the ground.

So try Showit out (you can start with a free trial) and let me know what you think!! I think you’re gonna love it 🙂

xoxo
