2020 has been a hard year. On SO MANY of us. And the more I give it thought, the more I realize that I think some of those that were hit the hardest were small business owners.
As someone who is the CEO of a small business myself, I can say it’s been the most challenging year yet. Financially, mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Every year I do my best to support small businesses when I shop throughout the year, and this Christmas I’m 100% shopping small.
Some may ask to define what a small business is.
Google says: “Small businesses are privately owned corporations, partnerships, or sole proprietorships that have fewer employees and/or less annual revenue than a regular-sized business or corporation.”
So to me, it’s whatever it means to YOU.
I personally don’t consider big corporations as a small business. Nor do I really view chain businesses as small businesses.
However, if you see the dream and drive within a shop or business, by all means support them.
As they say, “when you support a small business, you support a dream.”
I categorized all of these under what I would identify each of these businesses as, leaving their Instagrams and Websites.
