Dying to get your Instagram aesthetic perfect??
I feel you.
I’m the queen of wanting my Insta grid to be on point. Because let’s be honest, essentially when someone lands on our profile, it’s our visual storefront. And we only have seconds before that person decides whether or not to click that “follow” button.
I firmly believe in planning my grid out not only visually, but also planning my captions out and placing them with the image in advance.
It helps give me peace of mind, and reduces stress for the week ahead, so I don’t need to scramble every day wondering what I will post for that day on Instagram.
If you know me, you know I love batch working. I’m obsessed with it. I love the idea of cranking out a bunch of work all at once, and think about it only once, so I walk into every week with a plan, and work that’s scheduled out.
Okay, so what’s my favorite tool to plan my Instagram out?
Planoly.
I remember a couple of years ago I did a simple google search to try to find a way to plan my posts out. I knew there had to be something out there, which was when I stumbled upon Planoly. And oh my goodness is it a LIFE SAVOR! I truly don’t know what I would do without it.
Not only can I plan and schedule out my photos for the week, but I can place in there my captions, hashtags, tags, etc., and at the time that I schedule it to be posted, it pops up on my phone and my caption is ready to paste right into Instagram.
I know there are many other planning apps out there, but one of my favorite things about Planoly is that their interface is just as great both on desktop and the app version.
I like to plan my posts out for the week on my laptop, so having the option to place it all into Planoly via my computer rather than my phone, saves so much time!! And then, once it’s time to post, it’s on my phone ready to go to Instagram!
Fun fact: Planoly was actually the first visual planner for Instagram.
